Hey Baseball Fans!! Become a big league manager on the Table Top!

What is the American Baseball League?

We are a bunch of guys who love baseball and enjoy the thrill of drafting and managing a big league ballclub.  Have you heard of Fantasy Baseball of Fantasy Football?  The ABL is similar but we actually manage the outcome of the games.  The statistics for all the players are one year behind "much like Madden Football on the X-Box".

We meet in late January and draft our teams and then meet up either online or face to face two times a month.  We have a flexible schedule that allows you to play the games within a ten day period that fit into your busy lifestyle.  Most of us have wives, girlfriends, kids, etc. and our setup allows everyone the chance to participate.

Additional information:

The American Baseball League that is based in Binghamton, N.Y. and has been around for over 25 years.  The ABL isn't like other Fantasy Baseball Leagues you hear about. The ABL uses a simplified version of Triple Play Baseball board game.

Triple Play consists of dice and cards based on the previous year’s stats and allows you to call the shots all season long like a big league manager.  You’re also the GM and build your franchise from the ground up with annual draft each off-season.

The ABL does have teams located outside the Binghamton area.  Those teams play over the Internet using an easy to use dice roller (Skype and and the rest of the games are played face to face.

The ABL is very flexible for busy lifestyles.  It’s a lesser commitment than being in a weekly bowling or softball league with flexible meeting times.

So do you love baseball?  If so, contact the ABL for more information.

Inquire about playing some practice games without any commitment with a current manager if you want to give tabletop baseball a try.  Maybe it's the baseball outlet you have been missing.

It''s free to try to play some practice games.
If you decide to join as an expansion team, $60.00 is the current fee.  This fee covers the entire season.

The ABL is always looking for fellow baseball minded folks that enjoy our national pastime as much as we do.
